Bring Free Preventive Healthcare to the Needy in Jafarabad

Transparent Hands is arranging a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Jafarabad, a district located in northeastern Balochistan. Known for its agricultural lands, Jafarabad plays a key role in supplying crops to the rest of the province. However, despite its importance, many of its residents are unable to access quality healthcare services. This camp aims to extend medical care to needy patients, providing free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic services.

Challenges
The people of Jafarabad face multiple barriers in accessing quality healthcare. The limited availability of doctors and adequate healthcare facilities often forces patients to live with untreated conditions. Unsafe drinking water, poor sanitation, and limited awareness about preventive healthcare contribute to widespread medical issues.
Last year, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) reported 7,268 cases of diarrhea, 5,466 cases of influenza, 4,600 cases of malaria, and 1,315 cases of lower respiratory tract infections in Balochistan.

To tackle these health issues, Transparent Hands is organizing a free medical camp in Jafarabad.
