Empower Residents of Attari, Okara, with Free Healthcare Services

Transparent Hands is organizing a free medical camp in Attari, a rural area in the Okara district of Punjab. While Okara is known for its fertile lands and agricultural activity, many of its rural communities lack access to quality healthcare services. A large number of residents depend on daily wages and are unable to afford private treatment or travel to urban health centers. To respond to these healthcare gaps, Transparent Hands is setting up a free medical camp in Attari to provide free checkups, lab tests, as well as medicines.
Challenges
Attari faces several healthcare challenges due to limited medical facilities and a lack of awareness about disease prevention and early diagnosis. Private healthcare facilities are beyond the financial reach of the underprivileged. As a result, common health issues often remain untreated, leading to worsening health over time. Financial constraints and low health literacy further contribute to delayed treatment and preventable complications.
According to a report by the National Institute of Health (NIH), Okara faces various congenital health conditions, including neurological disorders, neuromuscular disorders, sensorineural or ear-related impairments, and musculoskeletal disorders.

Through this upcoming camp, Transparent Hands aims to improve long-term health outcomes for the residents of Attari. Our team of experienced doctors, nurses, and volunteers will deliver medical care and conduct diagnostic tests. The following services will be delivered free of charge:
