Challenges
Sehjra, like many other rural villages in Pakistan, faces numerous healthcare challenges. The local health facilities are either under-equipped or too far away, making it difficult for residents to access timely medical care. Many people cannot afford the high costs of private healthcare services, forcing them to ignore or delay treatment. Additionally, there is a noticeable lack of health awareness, and many villagers are unaware of the importance of preventive care and regular health checkups.
In Kasur, prevalent illnesses include diarrhea, respiratory infections, and malaria. Moreover, gastroenteritis and cholera are also common in Kasur.

Solution
To address these issues, Transparent Hands is setting up a free medical camp in Sehjra. Elderly individuals will receive assessments for chronic health conditions, ensuring they get the much-needed advice and care. Women will have access to much-needed gynecological care, which is often neglected in rural settings.
