It is a mountainous and beautiful region, but the people of Ayun face serious challenges in accessing quality healthcare services. With limited medical facilities, many residents cannot afford diagnostic tests, treatments, or even basic consultations. This free medical camp aims to extend essential medical services to the underprivileged residents of Ayun. The camp will provide free consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicines.
Challenges
The residents of Ayun struggle due to the region’s isolation, limited health facilities, and their financial constraints. Many people live with undiagnosed or untreated health issues that can be managed effectively with early intervention. A recent report reveals that 1,114 residents in Lower Chitral have been affected by stomach and intestinal diseases. Additionally, typhoid and tuberculosis are among the widespread health concerns in the region.
