Since 2014, Transparent Hands has been dedicated to its mission to provide essential healthcare services to deserving patients across Pakistan. This time, we are organizing a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Mokal, a rural village in Kasur, Punjab. Mokal struggles with limited healthcare access, leaving many residents vulnerable to untreated illnesses. This upcoming camp is designed to bring vital medical services to needy patients. They will receive free consultations, diagnostic tests, ultrasound scans, and medicines.

The village has only a few healthcare facilities that often lack the resources and staff to manage the growing health needs of the population. Shortage of healthcare professionals and the absence of specialized services mean that many conditions go undiagnosed or are poorly managed.
Poverty, poor sanitation, and limited health knowledge contribute to the spread of preventable diseases like respiratory infections, skin conditions, and stomach issues.
Solution
To address these pressing concerns, Transparent Hands is arranging a free medical camp in Mokal. By receiving necessary medical services, the residents of Mokal will get the timely diagnosis of their health issues and begin essential treatments. Transparent Hands, with the support of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), Association for Gender Awareness and Human Empowerment (AGAHE) and other Donors, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Union Council Mokal, District Kasur on June 30, 2025. The primary objective of this camp was to provide quality healthcare services to deserving patients in Mokal.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests:
A total of 274 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. In addition to consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests, including:
- Diabetes tests
- Uric acid tests
- Hepatitis B and C screenings
- Cholesterol tests
- Blood pressure checkups

Common Health-Related Issues
At the camp, most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from the following health-related issues:

- Abdominal Pain
- Flu, Fever
- Chickenpox
Identification of Surgical Cases:
During the camp, we identified three patients who required surgical procedures. Depending on the detailed medical and financial evaluation, Transparent Hands may register them for further treatment at one of our panel hospitals.
Preventive Healthcare Session
In addition to the medical services, one of our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about Hypertension.
Impact
This free medical camp made an impact on the lives of 274 deserving patients and their families. By providing free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests, we addressed the healthcare needs of the vulnerable community of Mokal. Through this camp, we empowered many deserving patients.
A preventive healthcare session equipped the attendees with essential information.
