Transparent Hands, in partnership with Life Hospital, intends to host a free eye camp and preventive healthcare session focused on eye care in Hujra Shah Muqeem, Depalpur. The primary objective of this camp is to address eye diseases that may potentially lead to blindness. The camp aims to prevent blindness by offering comprehensive eye checkups and the provision of free glasses.

  • Free registration of the patients requiring Eye Surgeries 


In Okara, people face common eye healthcare issues such as refractive errors (nearsightedness and farsightedness) and cataracts. There are also concerns about eye conditions like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. Eye patients in Okara need to have access to quality eye care services, regular check-ups, and timely treatment to prevent vision loss.

In collaboration with Life Hospital, Transparent Hands organized a free eye camp and preventive healthcare session at Hujra Shah Muqeem, Depalpur on 29th February 2024. The free eye camp aimed to provide impoverished patients access to high-quality eye care and treatment, ensuring they receive the best medical attention without financial barriers. 

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

This free eye camp benefitted 185 deserving patients with free eye checkups, medicines, and the provision of necessary glasses for those in need. The camp aimed to ensure access to comprehensive eye care services, enhancing the well-being and vision of underprivileged individuals.

Diseases and Treatments

Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from cataracts, conjunctivitis, and other eye diseases.

Preventive Healthcare Session

One of our expert doctors conducted a preventive healthcare session emphasizing the importance of eye hygiene for all attendees, providing valuable insights on maintaining optimal eye health.


The free medical camp had a significant impact on the lives of 185 deserving patients and their families, specifically in the realm of eye care. The camp provided crucial eye checkups, diagnosis, and treatment, emphasizing the importance of early detection and proper care for ocular health. 

This transformative initiative was made possible by the support of thousands of donors who share Transparent Hands' mission to extend quality eye care services to impoverished, remote, and rural areas of the country.

 The camp's success highlights the vital role of accessible eye care interventions in improving lives and underscores the generosity of donors in promoting equitable healthcare access for those in need.
