Transparent Hands is going to arrange a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide essential healthcare services to underprivileged communities in Quetta. It is a mountainous region and is famous for its natural beauty. The residents of Quetta face immense challenges in accessing timely medical services due to limited healthcare facilities and poverty. They are awaiting necessary treatments, and we aim to make preventive healthcare accessible to them. At this upcoming camp, patients will receive free checkups, lab tests, and high-quality medicines.

Challenges
Quetta is the capital and largest city of Balochistan. Public healthcare facilities often struggle to meet the needs of the underprivileged. For patients belonging to low-income families, it is quite difficult to afford costly treatments at private hospitals. This, in turn, affects their health and well-being and diminishes their quality of life.
A UNICEF report highlights that around 44% of households in Quetta were affected by diarrhea, 25% by gastrointestinal diseases, and 21% were suffering from cholera.
