Transparent Hands and Ahmed Medical Complex have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to improve healthcare access for underserved communities in Kasur. Many patients in Kasur cannot afford access to essential surgical and medical treatment in the city. This collaboration is an effort to accommodate such patients and improve overall health conditions in Kasur and its suburban areas. 

Mr. Raheel Abbas (Director of Operations, Transparent Hands) and Ms. Sumaira Shakeel Ahmed (CEO, Ahmed Medical Complex, Kasur) signed the MoU on January 26, 2026. Dr. Ahmed Fawad (Medical Director, Transparent Hands) also attended the ceremony.

Under the agreement, Ahmed Medical Complex will provide healthcare services to patients recommended by Transparent Hands at a subsidized rate. The medical services include pre-operative and post-operative consultations, inpatient care, and required diagnostic tests. 

The hospital has agreed to offer a discount on treatments that include surgery, medicines, and tests. Transparent Hands will take responsibility for managing patient referrals, approvals, and the settlement of hospital bills. All treatment will be carried out in a professional and structured manner to maximize patient care. The partnership also supports Transparent Hands’ existing Hepatitis B and C projects in Kasur. Ahmed Medical Complex will provide free vaccinations for recommended patients and will also give space for community engagement activities.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director of Operations at Transparent Hands, Mr. Raheel Abbas, said:

The agreement will help cure many deserving patients and create a lasting impact on low-income communities. By combining resources and expertise, both organizations will uplift many patients who have been waiting for treatments and relief.
