Transparent Hands Partners with Shine Humanity to Distribute Mosquito Nets to Flood Victims
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Shine Humanity and Transparent Hands on September 12, 2025, at Transparent Hands’ office. The MOU was signed by Ms. Rameeza Mueen (Co-founder, Transparent Hands) and Mr. Fahim Khan (CEO, Shine Humanity) to collaboratively provide relief to flood-affected families by distributing mosquito nets.
Under the agreement, Shine Humanity will provide 400 mosquito nets to Transparent Hands for distribution in Pakistan’s deserving flood-affected areas. Transparent Hands, which is already providing flood relief to victims across the country, will manage the distribution of mosquito nets.
Before this partnership, Transparent Hands was fighting malaria by providing free malaria medicines and diagnostic tests. Through this MoU, now we’re expanding our initiative to tackle malaria with the distribution of mosquito nets. Mosquitoes pose a major threat in flood-affected areas. Malaria and Dengue can be life-threatening diseases if not prevented and treated on time. Mosquito nets ensure the safety of flood victims, including children and the elderly.
Speaking about the collaboration, the Director of Transparent Hands, Mr. Raheel Abbas, said:

Stagnant, standing, and contaminated water in the flood-affected areas are spreading many water-borne and vector-borne diseases. The threat of Malaria and Dengue looms large, and outbreaks are already being reported. Access to mosquito nets can help many flood-hit families remain safe.”
He went on to share his grief over the destruction caused in the flood-affected areas and expressed his satisfaction with the impactful partnership.
This year, Transparent Hands was among the first organizations to provide relief in the affected areas by organizing free flood relief camps and preventive healthcare sessions. Their medical teams are still on the ground providing free first aid, medical care, food packages, clothes, and mosquito nets to flood victims.
