Dadu’s Free Medical Camp: A Healing Impact on the Local Community
Transparent Hands recently held a free medical camp in Dadu with a preventive healthcare session to make quality healthcare available to impoverished patients. The free medical camp was held at Village Khuhra, UC Litany, Tehsil Mehar, Dadu, Sindh, on June 2, 2023.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
During the free medical camp, a total of 593 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. Along with the consultations, the patients were given medicines and underwent important screenings and check-ups for diseases such as diabetes, hepatitis B and C, typhoid, and malaria, as well as examinations for cholesterol and blood pressure. All these services were provided to the patients without any charges, ensuring their access to necessary healthcare services.
Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, flu, cough, skin infections, asthma, diabetes, hypertension, gastric problems, diarrhea, body pain, and malnutrition. A total of 40 lab tests were also conducted during the medical camp.
Preventive Healthcare Session
During the session on cleanliness and personal hygiene, attendees received valuable tips for a healthy lifestyle from one of our expert doctors. They learned about the importance of regular handwashing, proper dental care, and cleaning their houses. They were also reminded to cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing, use clean utensils for food preparation, and dispose of waste properly.

The free medical camp organized by Transparent Hands had a profound impact on the lives of 593 deserving patients and their families.
