Empowering Matiari’s Underserved Community through a Free Health Camp
Transparent Hands recently held a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to make quality healthcare available to impoverished patients. The free medical camp was held at Foundation Assisted School, Village Jamal Khan Nizamani, Shahdadpur Road, Matiari on December 23, 2023.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
At the free medical camp, 567 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors. They were also given free medicines and tests for diabetes, hepatitis B and C, Malaria, cholesterol, and blood pressure. Additionally, 30 diagnostic tests were conducted to help identify any health concerns.
Preventive Healthcare Session on Personal Hygiene and Cleanliness
One of our expert doctors conducted an informative preventive healthcare session emphasizing the importance of personal hygiene as a crucial factor in maintaining good health.
Diseases and Treatments
Several patients who sought consultation at the medical camp presented with a range of ailments including fever, cough, flu, sore throat, chest congestion, diabetes, migraine, high blood pressure, abdominal pain, diarrhea, body pain, and general weaknesses.
