Transparent Hands, courtesy of the Khyber Rifles, Frontier Corps, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide access to high-quality healthcare services to underprivileged patients. This took place on November 9, 2023, at the Basic Health Unit, Bacha Meena, Landi Kotal, Khyber.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

A total of 635 deserving patients were given free consultations with expert doctors. They also received free medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B and C screenings, ultrasounds, cholesterol checks, and blood pressure measurements. Additionally, 108 diagnostic tests were also conducted.

Diseases and Treatments

Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, flu, cough, chest congestion, seasonal allergies, scabies, diabetes, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and anemia. There was no surgical case registered during the camp.

Preventive Healthcare Session

One of our expert doctors conducted a preventive healthcare session at the free medical camp, focusing on the prevention and management of scabies.
