Free Medical Camp Held at Village Oorra, Sialkot on 27 March, 2022
Transparent Hands, in collaboration with Essar Welfare Foundation & Blood Bank, held a free medical camp with the vision to provide quality health care to deserving patients. The medical camp was organized at Village Oorra, Sialkot on March 27, 2022.
Free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests
A total of 210 patients belonging to underprivileged communities received free consultations. In addition to free medicines, the patients were also provided with blood sugar tests, eye checkups, blood pressure tests, and hepatitis B and C screenings. Some of the patients donated blood for thalassemia patients.
Medical camp team
The medical camp team consisted of 17 members, including a supervisor, two doctors, a pharmacist, two photographers, four lab technicians, and seven crew workers.
Diseases and treatments
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, diabetes, pains, hypertension, gastric problems, and flu. Free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients.
Impact
The Village Oorra free medical camp made a lasting difference in the lives of 210 patients and their families. This year, Transparent Hands aims to arrange 100 free medical camps across Pakistan. Thousands of donors are supporting Transparent Hands’ mission to provide quality medical care to even more underprivileged and remote areas of the country.
