Free Medical Camp Held in Narowal, Punjab, on July 22, 2022
Transparent Hands recently arranged a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to make quality healthcare available to those who cannot afford to pay for their treatments. The free medical camp was held in Sathiala Village, Narowal, on July 22, 2022.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 250 patients belonging to underprivileged communities received free consultations by expert doctors. Medicines, diabetes tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, uric acid tests, and blood pressure check-ups were also provided free of charge.
Preventive Healthcare Session on Hepatitis
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp in Narowal. The session focused on hepatitis. The doctor discussed the types and symptoms of hepatitis and how we can avoid it.
Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from blood pressure, diabetes, allergies, gastrointestinal problems, flu, fever, weakness, and cough. Free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients. A total of 10 patients were diagnosed with hepatitis C.

The medical camp team consisted of 15 members, including a supervisor, four doctors (two females and two males), two pharmacists, a lab technician, a nurse, a patient registrar, a photographer, and four crew workers.
