Free Medical Camp Held in Sheikhupura, on February 26th. 2023
Transparent Hands recently set up a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to facilitate hundreds of deserving patients from this underprivileged area. The free medical camp was held at Umm-e-Habiba Model High School, Sheikhupura, on February 26, 2023.

The patients were diagnosed with various health problems, such as fever, flu, cough, seasonal allergies, chest infection, asthma, body weakness, calcium deficiency, anemia, eye infection, liver infection, cyst, kidney pain, hepatitis C, jaundice, backache, and muscle pain.
Preventive Healthcare Session
A doctor held a preventive healthcare session for all attendees at the medical camp. The doctor briefed the attendees to raise awareness about diabetes and discussed its symptoms, causes, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Impact
This free medical camp in Sheikhupura made a difference in the lives of 135 patients and their families. Thousands of donors from all over the world are helping Transparent Hands champion the noble cause of providing quality healthcare facilities to underprivileged people in different parts of the country.
Medical Camp Team
The team for this free medical camp consisted of 11 members, including one supervisor, three doctors (one female and two males), two lab technicians, two pharmacists, two patient registrars, one crew worker, and one photographer. The twenty-two students from the LUMS community service society also worked in the camp as volunteers.
