Free Medical Camp Held in Takht Bhai, Mardan, on August 24, 2022
Transparent Hands recently organized a free medical camp in Takht Bhai and preventive healthcare to facilitate hundreds of deserving patients from underprivileged areas. The free medical camp was held at Gull Medical Centre, Takht Bhai, Mardan on August 24, 2022. The Centre for Peace and Rural Development (CPRD) also participated in the medical camp.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 202 impoverished patients received free consultations by our expert doctors. The patients were also provided with free medicines, face masks, sanitizers, and various diagnostic tests, including Hepatitis B & C screenings, diabetes & blood pressure tests, and ultrasound scans.
Diseases and Treatments
The most common health conditions and diseases found among the patients were hepatitis, skin allergies, gastric diseases, diarrhea, seasonal nasal allergies, cardiac diseases, eye problems, lower back pain, kidney problems, abdomen pain, and diabetes. Two surgical cases were also found during the free medical camp.
Preventive Healthcare Session for Women
A female doctor held a preventive healthcare session for women at the medical camp. It covered ways to address skin problems, maintain menstrual hygiene, and prevent UTI (Urinary Tract Infection).
Impact
This free Mardan medical camp made a difference in the lives of 202 patients and their families. Thousands of donors across the world are helping Transparent Hands champion the noble cause of providing quality healthcare facilities to underprivileged people living in different parts of the country.
Medical Camp Team
The team for this free medical camp in Takht Bhai consisted of 14 members, including one supervisor, three doctors (one male and two females), two pharmacists, one lab technician, one patient registrar, one photographer, and five crew workers.
