Free Medical Camp, Held on 26 September 2021, Government Aslam Junior Model School Sector B-II, Township Lahore
Transparent Hands collaborated with Life hospital in organizing a free medical camp in Township at Government Aslam Junior Model School Sector B-II, Township Lahore, on 26 September 2021. The camp team consisted of thirteen members that included two supervisors, four doctors (three female and one male), two pharmacists, one lab technologist, one female nurse, one photographer, and two crew workers. A large number of males, females, and children turned up at the camp. A total of 691 patients were checked free of cost. All COVID SOPs were followed by the camp team. The patients and all other attendees were encouraged to wear face masks and use hand sanitizers.
In this free medical camp in Township, our team of expert physicians provided free ophthalmological consultation, Hepatitis B and C screening, Tuberculosis screening, Hemoglobin testing, Blood pressure monitoring, and Basic Sugar Level testing. The majority of the cases examined by the doctors consisted of patients suffering from general weakness, fever, cough, various types of allergies, stomach issues, joints, and muscular pain. Free medication was provided to the patients suffering from the above-mentioned ailments. In this camp total of 6 surgical cases were found, 9 cases of Hepatitis C and 12 cases of Hepatitis B came out positive. All these patients have been registered with Transparent Hands for further treatment at our panel hospitals.
The medical and surgical camp organized by Transparent Hands has played an instrumental role in assisting 691 patients who turned up at the camp. Team Transparent Hands is grateful to all the donors for contributing to making this medical and surgical camp possible. We look forward to organizing more camps in order to be of service to the underprivileged patients in Pakistan by facilitating them with basic health care facilities.
