Free Medical Camp in Jhang Sponsored by CopperGat Cables Pvt Ltd

Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp on 17^th March 2018 at Mian Safdar’s Farm House in Shorkot City, Jhang. The camp was organized by Transparent Hands with the immense support of its sponsor ‘CopperGat Cables Pvt Ltd’.

In this medical camp, 425 patients were checked free of cost and were also given free medicines as prescribed by doctors. Out of these patients, around 70 people were given free blood sugar test facility. We found out that they were experiencing various diseases including infection, muscular & joint pain (vitamin deficiency), cough, flu, high blood sugar level, fever, and many more diseases.

Results of Medical Camp in Jhang

In the medical camp, a few surgical cases were also identified and they were further pre-registered for surgery with Transparent Hands. Out of these surgical patients, 2 patients with congenital heart disease, 1 with Left Kidney Stones, 1 patient of Hernia, 1 patient of left leg burn, 1 Orthopedic patient, and 6 Thyroid (Goiter) patients were registered.

Transparent Hands team comprising of 8 members managed this free medical camp successfully. Team included 3 doctors, 1 pharmacist / dispenser, 1 phlebotomist, 1 supervisor and 2 patient registration persons. The camp has successfully created an impact in the lives of more than 400 patients of Al-Hussain Nagar in Shorkot City, Jhang. We look forward to organizing many such medical camps to facilitate the poor and deserving patients of Pakistan.
