Free Medical Camp in Karachi Delivered Medical Care
Transparent Hands recently hosted a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to extend quality healthcare to impoverished individuals. On January 29, 2024, it occurred at Fine Daily Plot No 160, Measuring 4, Korangi Creek Road, Ibrahim Hyderi, Korangi, Karachi. The main purpose was to ensure that those in need had access to top-notch medical services and to educate participants on preventive healthcare measures.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 126 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors at the medical camp. They were also provided with free medicines, diabetes tests, hepatitis B and C screenings, Malaria checks, cholesterol tests, and blood pressure check-ups. In addition, the camp conducted 40 diagnostic tests free of charge.
Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, flu, cough, chest congestion, throat infection, earache, toothache, migraine, acidity, gastric trouble, diarrhea, abdominal pain, acne, skin infection, scabies, skin rashes, knee pain, foot pain, fungal infection, high cholesterol, high BP, and diabetes.
Preventive Healthcare Session
At the free medical camp, one of our proficient doctors conducted a preventive healthcare session, specifically addressing skin infections and imparting knowledge on effective prevention strategies.
Impact
The free medical camp held at Fine Daily, Korangi had a significant impact on the lives of the 126 patients who received treatment. By providing much-needed medical consultations, diagnostic tests, and preventive healthcare services, the camp addressed their healthcare needs and relieved the financial burden on their families.
