Transparent Hands organized a free medical and surgical camp on September 19, 2020, at Village Baaja, UC Jahanda Tehsil & District Swabi, for the underprivileged community in the area. The camp was organized and managed by Transparent Hands in the area of National Assembly speaker Mr. Asad Qaiser.

Results from Medical Camp in Swabi

A team of 30 experts managed this camp. 426 patients were provided free consultation and medicines. Hepatitis B&C tests, blood sugar tests, and blood pressure tests were also provided free of cost. In this medical camp, 12 medical and surgical cases were identified and 1 patient was diagnosed with hepatitis. All these cases were registered with the organization for further treatment.

The medical camp team included 2 supervisor, 14 doctors, 2 pharmacists, 2 lab technologists, 2 patient registrars, 1 photographer, 2 staff nurses, and 5 crew workers.

This medical camp successfully provided free quality healthcare to more than 400 patients in the surrounded area of Swabi. We hope that we can organize many such camps in the future in other underdeveloped areas of Pakistan. Please keep supporting us!
