Free Medical Camp on Bund Road, Lahore by Transparent Hands and Life Care Foundation
Transparent Hands, in collaboration with Life Care Hospital, organized a free medical, eye & surgical camp on Bund Road, Lahore on 2nd March 2020, for the poor and deserving people of that area. In this camp, 725 patients were checked free of cost and were also given free consultation, free medicines, free eye checkups, and glasses. In addition to this, HB tests, hepatitis B&C tests, blood sugar tests, and blood pressure tests were conducted at the camp absolutely free.
Among all the beneficiaries, 180 patients were given free glasses. Furthermore, 20 cases of eye cataract surgery, 6 cases of hepatitis, 1 cardiac case, and 3 other medical and surgical cases were identified, and further registered with Transparent Hands for free treatment.
Medical Camp on Bund Road Results.
A team comprising of 32 members managed this medical camp successfully. The team included 12 doctors (6 male & 6 female), 2 supervisors, 3 lab technologists, 4 pharmacists, 4 patient registrars, 2 photographers, and 5 crew workers.
This medical camp has successfully created an impact on the lives of almost 800 patients in the surrounding area of Bund Road. We thank Life Care Foundation for working together with us on this project. With your constant support, we hope to organize many such camps in the future!
