Healing Lives: Free Medical Camp and Preventive Care in Kotri

Transparent Hands, with the collaboration of Rafhan Maize Products Co Ltd, recently held a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide essential medical support to needy patients. The free medical camp was held at Govt. Primary School, TNT Colony Kotri, District Jamshoro on November 30, 2024.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

A total of 810 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. Medicines, general check-ups, blood pressure check-ups, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and cholesterol tests were provided free of charge. Preventive Healthcare Session

At the free medical camp in Kotri, our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees. The session focused on personal hygiene.

 

Diseases and Treatments

Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from skin allergies, fever, diabetes, body pain, hypertension, gastric problems, cough, flu, and weakness. Free medicines were given to a large number of needy patients.

Impact

The free medical camp made a meaningful difference in the lives of 810 deserving patients and their families. By providing free consultations, lab tests, and essential medications, this camp significantly enhanced the quality of life for numerous individuals in need. Many needy patients, who were unable to access medical care due to financial constraints, received vital medical support and attention.

We focused on addressing their health issues and providing them relief and care. The camp also included a preventive healthcare session, providing attendees with the knowledge to make better health choices. Participants expressed deep appreciation for the emphasis on personal hygiene encouraging them to adopt healthier lifestyles. This camp not only met healthcare needs but also enabled vulnerable communities to live better and healthier lives.
