Improving Healthcare Access for Deserving Patients in Lodhran
In an effort to provide quality healthcare to underprivileged individuals, Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session. This took place in the impoverished region of Alipur Kanju, Lodhran, on October 28, 2023.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total number of 260 deserving patients were able to benefit from free consultations with skilled doctors. Furthermore, they were provided with free medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B and C screenings, ultrasounds, cholesterol, and blood pressure check-ups. Additionally, a total of 142 diagnostic tests were also conducted.
Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, flu, cough, sore throat, chest infection, abdominal pain, diarrhea, diabetes, seasonal allergies, scabies, kidney pain, anemia, body pain, and general weaknesses. There was one surgical case was registered.

The medical camp team consisted of 13 members, including one supervisor, four doctors (two male and two females), one lab technician, one pharmacist, three patient registrars /crew members, one volunteer, one staff nurse, and one photographer.
