Lahore’s Underprivileged Communities Received Free Healthcare
Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Hafeez Center, Main Boulevard, Gulberg III, Lahore. The primary objective of this camp held on 6th November 2024, was to provide essential medical support to underprivileged communities in Lahore.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests:
A total of 326 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Along with consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests including:
- Diabetes tests
- Uric acid tests
- Hepatitis B and C screenings
- Cholesterol tests
- Blood pressure checkups
- Ultrasound scans

Most Common Diseases
At the free medical camp, patients received consultations for a variety of diseases, including but not limited to:
- Migraine and kidney problems
- Fever, cough, flu, and chest congestion
- Seasonal allergies and scabies
- Asthma, backache, and joint pain
- Abdominal pain, diarrhea, and acidity
- Diabetes and high blood pressure
Preventive Healthcare Session
In addition to the medical services, our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about the harmful effects of smog and preventive measures for it.
Impact
This free medical camp made a significant impact on the lives of 326 deserving patients and their families. Many patients who belonged to low-income families were awaiting necessary treatments. Through this medical camp, they received free consultations, ultrasound scans, diagnostic tests, medicines as well as treatments. This camp helped bridge the healthcare gap. Moreover, it served as a lifeline, ensuring that residents received the much-needed medical attention.
A preventive healthcare session was conducted to educate people regarding precautionary measures that reduce exposure to harmful air pollutants, ultimately enhancing the health and well-being of needy patients. Overall, this camp played a pivotal role in providing hope and healing to Lahore’s underserved communities.
