Free Medical Camp in Lahore by Transparent Hands and Lahore Care Hospital
Transparent Hands and Lahore Care Hospital organized a free medical camp on 31st October, 2018 at Lahore Care Hospital, Ghazi Road Stop, Ferozpur Road, Lahore. The camp was organized by Transparent Hands and Lahore Care Hospital.
In this medical camp, 746 patients were checked free of cost. They were also given free medicines as prescribed by doctors. In this medical camp, Blood Pressure and Diabetes test facility was also given free to the patients. Out of 746 patients, around 500 patients’ blood pressure check up and diabetes tests were performed.
In this medical camp, we found out that mostly patients were suffering from various diseases including chest infections, muscular & joint pains, seasonal fever & flu, skin allergies, high blood sugar levels, gastrointestinal diseases and many more. Out of 746 patients, 7 surgical patients were pre-registered; 2 Cardiac, 2 ENT, 1 Neuro, 1 Urology and 1 Orthopedic patient.
Transparent Hands and Lahore Care Hospital team comprising of 30 members managed this medical camp successfully. Team included 8 doctors, 3 pharmacists / dispensers, 6 phlebotomists, 2 supervisors, 2 photographers, 5 patient registration persons and 4 helpers. The camp has successfully created an impact in the lives of 746 poor patients of Ferozpur Road area and surroundings. In this medical camp, Pharma companies (Macter International, Getz Pharma, Genix Pharma, GSK and RG Pharma) also gave free medicines to the patients. We look forward to organizing many such camps to facilitate the poor and deserving patients of Pakistan.
