Impact
The free medical camp positively impacted the lives of 264 needy patients and their families in Lahore. Despite living in an urban city, many needy individuals struggle to access timely treatments due to affordability issues. This medical camp addressed some common eye diseases and made every effort to ensure that a maximum number of patients could benefit. Our medical team including eye specialists, pharmacists, and volunteers was on board to extend free health services including consultations, examinations, diagnostic tests, and medicines to the needy.
During the camp, 14 patients were diagnosed with cataract and they needed surgical interventions. We have registered them and referred them to our panel hospitals for undergoing surgeries.
This medical camp played a crucial role in treating the eye issues of many needy individuals who wished to see the world clearly. However, we couldn’t extend these essential healthcare services to this area without your unwavering support. You helped us a lot in making healthcare accessible to deserving patients in Lahore and we are grateful for it.
