Our Free Eye Camp Made a Lasting Impact in Lahore
Transparent Hands, with the collaboration of Life Hospital, organized a free eye camp on 15th December 2024 in Nadeem Bajwa Peer Colony, Walton Road, Lahore. The camp was held to bring quality healthcare services to needy patients suffering from treatable eye conditions.
Healthcare Services
A total of 295 patients benefited from the free eye camp. The free eye camp provided the following free healthcare services to deserving patients:
- Eye checkups
- Consultations
- Medicines
- Eyeglasses
- Blood pressure check-ups
- Diabetes tests
Most Common Diseases
At the free medical camp in Lahore, patients received consultations for a variety of diseases, including:
- Cataract
- Conjunctivitis
- Pterygium
- Glaucoma
- Hypermetropia
- Myopia
Impact
The free eye camp benefited 295 deserving patients and their families. The services provided at the camp enabled many patients to return to their normal lives.
At the camp, 14 patients were identified for cataract surgery. These cases were registered with Transparent Hands for further treatment.
The free eye camp marks another successful milestone in Transparent Hands’ commitment to delivering essential healthcare services to those in need.
