Our Free Medical Camp Brought Preventive Healthcare to Sehwan Sharif
Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of PARCO Pak-Arab Refinery Limited, recently arranged a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide quality healthcare to underprivileged patients. The free medical camp took place on 12th October 2024 at RHC (Rural Health Center) Arazi, Main Road Sehwan, Tehsil Sehwan Sharif, District Jamshoro.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 1050 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Medicines, general check-ups, blood pressure check-ups, ultrasound scans, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, cholesterol tests, CBC, malaria, typhoid, and electrolyte tests were provided free of cost. At the free medical camp, most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, skin allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach issues. Free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients.
Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management of Scabies. The doctors discussed the risk factors, causes, and ways to manage the disease.
