Our Free Medical Camp Improved the Lives of the Needy in Kasur

Transparent Hands, with the support of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), Association for Gender Awareness and Human Empowerment (AGAHE) and other Donors, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in UC Bhikhiwind, District Kasur. The primary objective of this camp held on May 22, 2025, was to provide necessary medical support to needy patients in Kasur.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests:

A total of 352 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Along with consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests, including:

  •         Diabetes tests
  •         Uric acid tests
  •         Hepatitis B and C screenings  
  •         Cholesterol tests
  •         Blood pressure checkups

Preventive Healthcare Session

In addition to the medical services, one of our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about Scabies.

Impact

This free medical camp made a valuable impact on the lives of 352 deserving patients in Kasur. It played a key role in uplifting the local community, where access to quality healthcare is limited. Many people who had long ignored their health concerns were finally able to consult experienced doctors and receive proper medical care.
