Our Free Medical Camp in Kotri Provided Quality Medical Care to the Deserving Community

Transparent Hands, in sponsorship with Rafhan Maize Product Co Limited, recently 

organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Government Boys Primary School, K.B Feeder Road, near Rafhan Maize Plant in Kotri, on April 23, 2024,  aiming to provide quality healthcare to underprivileged patients.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

A total of 393 patients received free medical consultations, medications, diabetes screenings, hepatitis B and C tests, cholesterol checks, and blood pressure monitoring at the camp. Additionally, a total of 20 diagnostic tests were also conducted.

Preventive Healthcare Session 

At this camp, one of our expert doctors conducted a preventive healthcare session for attendees, emphasizing the importance of personal hygiene. This session aimed to educate participants on maintaining cleanliness to prevent health issues.

Diseases and Treatments

Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, cough, flu, chest congestion, earache, eye infection, toothache, seasonal allergies, abdominal pain, diarrhea, PCOS, anemia, skin rashes, migraine, diabetes, and high blood pressure. 

Impact

The free medical camp in Kotri significantly impacted the lives of 393 deserving patients and their families by providing essential consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests. In addition to these services, a preventive healthcare session focused on personal hygiene was conducted, to educate attendees on maintaining proper hygiene in their daily lives. 

With the generous support of thousands of donors, Transparent Hands continues to advance its mission, bringing vital healthcare services to impoverished, remote, and rural areas across the country. This camp in Kotri reflects the positive outcomes that can be achieved through dedicated effort and community support.
