Our Free Medical Camp Uplifted Lives in Karachi

Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of PARCO (Pak-Arab Refinery Limited), recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session for deserving patients in Ibrahim Hyderi, Karachi. The free medical camp was held on February 1, 2025, at Baloch Mujahid Football Stadium, Ibrahim Hyderi, Karachi.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

A total of 973 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Medicines, general check-ups, blood pressure check-ups, ultrasound scans, diabetes tests, CBC, electrolytes, malaria, typhoid, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and cholesterol tests were provided free of cost.  Diseases and Treatments

Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, skin allergies, scabies, fungal issues, fever, diabetes, body pains, joint pain, cough, and stomach issues. Moreover, free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients.

Preventive Healthcare Session

Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management of scabies and fungal infections.

The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 973 deserving patients and their families. Overwhelmed public hospitals and expensive private healthcare facilities make essential medical services inaccessible to needy patients in Karachi. The medical camp team consisted of 19 members, including 1 supervisor, 4 doctors (2 males and 2 females), 3 lab technicians, 1 sonologist, 2 pharmacists, 4 patient registrars, 2 crew workers, 1 photographer, and 1 driver.
