Revitalizing Community Health with a Free Medical Camp in Kahna, Lahore
The free medical camp by Transparent Hands aims to empower the local community of Kahna, Lahore by providing accessible healthcare services. It was held on September 27, 2023, at Victoria Resort, Kahna, Lahore.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 311 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors. Additionally, they were provided with free medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B and C screenings, ultrasound, cholesterol, and blood pressure check-ups. Furthermore, a total of 149 diagnostic tests were conducted.
Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, flu, chest infection, sore throat, seasonal allergies, eczema, diabetes, body weakness, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. There was no surgical case registered during the camp.
Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees. The session focused on the prevention and management and prevention of conjunctivitis

The Kahna medical camp team consisted of 12 members, including one supervisor, three doctors (one male and two females), one lab technician, two pharmacists, two patient registrars /crew members, one volunteer, one staff nurse, and one photographer.
