Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management of scabies. It is an itchy skin rash caused by the parasitic infestation.
Impact
The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 680 needy patients and their families. High medical costs, crowded public hospitals, and long wait times prevent many deserving patients from seeking timely care. This results in worse health conditions and a high prevalence of treatable illnesses among them. This medical camp served as a glimmer of hope for many poor patients seeking healthcare access. The camp provided numerous healthcare services, including consultations, lab tests, screenings, and medicines.
Through a preventive healthcare session, participants gained valuable insights into maintaining their health and well-being, empowering a culture of awareness and prevention. Overall, this medical camp was tailored to meet the specific healthcare needs of vulnerable communities, giving them hope and relief. We extend our deepest gratitude to you for supporting this camp and bringing a remarkable difference in the lives of needy patients in Karachi.
Medical Camp Team
The medical camp team consisted of 21 members, including two supervisors, four doctors (two males and two females), 2 lab technicians, 3 pharmacists, 6 patient registrars, 2 crew members, 1 photographer, and 1 driver.
