We Brought Relief to Kasur’s Needy Patients
Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of Packages Foundation, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at the Biomass Purchase Centre, Kasur Road, Dhing Shah, Kasur. The primary objective of this camp held on December 26, 2024, was to provide essential medical assistance to the underserved community of Kasur.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 439 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Besides this, the patients received free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests including:
- Diabetes tests
- Uric acid tests
- Hepatitis B and C screenings
- Cholesterol tests
- Ultrasound scans
- Blood pressure checkups

The patients received consultations for a variety of diseases, including but not limited to:
- Fever, cough, flu, and chest congestion
- Seasonal allergies and scabies
- Asthma, backache, and joint pain
- Migraine and kidney problems
- Diabetes and high blood pressure
- Abdominal pain, diarrhea, and acidity
Preventive Healthcare Session
In addition to these services, one of our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about the prevention and management of Hepatitis C.
Impact
This free medical camp had a meaningful impact on the lives of 439 needy patients in Kasur. Many residents had been facing severe financial difficulties, making healthcare inaccessible. With limited resources, they struggled to manage their health, often delaying necessary treatments. The camp provided much-needed medical consultations, treatments, and medications at no cost, bringing relief to underprivileged individuals.
The camp was a source of hope, especially for families burdened by financial strain, as it allowed them to address their health issues and improve their quality of life. Moreover, through a preventive healthcare session, individuals were provided with the knowledge to take charge of their health and tackle one of the common health issues in Kasur.
