We Extended Preventive Healthcare to Umerkot
Transparent Hands, with the collaboration of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) & Association for Water, Applied Education & Renewable Energy (AWARE), recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide essential medical support to deserving patients. The free medical camp was held on 15h December 2024 at Govt. Boys High School, Village Babu Faqir Near Karna Mori, UC Atta Muhammad Pulli, District Umerkot.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 710 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Medicines, general check-ups, blood pressure check-ups, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and cholesterol tests were provided free of cost. Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, skin allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach issues. Moreover, free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients in Umerkot.
Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the management and prevention of common cold and flu.
