We Fought Diseases Through a Free Medical Camp in Chishtian
Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of Packages Foundation, recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to make quality healthcare available to underprivileged patients. The free medical camp was held on 28th August 2024 at Bulleh Shah Packaging LTD, Dahranwala, Chishtian.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 401 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Medicines, blood pressure check-ups, and ultrasound scans, in addition to diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and cholesterol tests were provided free of charge. Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who received medical consultations were suffering from flu, allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach issues. Moreover, free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients.
Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors delivered a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on clean water and sanitation. By giving them knowledge, we aimed to reduce the prevalence of treatable illnesses and encourage healthy living within the community.
Impact
The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 401 deserving patients and their families. Due to the shortage of medical resources, the residents were suffering. They received free consultations, diagnostic tests as well as medications.
By bringing essential medical services to the community, our camp played a vital role in improving the health outcomes for Chishtian’s residents. It contributed to alleviating the healthcare crisis in the region, offering hope and healing to those who are living without access to proper medical care.

The medical camp team consisted of 14 members, including one camp manager, three doctors (two males and one female), one lab technician, two pharmacists, two crew workers, two volunteers, one staff nurse, and one photographer.
