Kot Lakhpat, a locality in Lahore, has been grappling with poor waste and water management for several years. The adverse effects of this poor air quality have significantly impacted the health and well-being of residents, particularly those living in remote areas or slums. The people of Kot Lakhpat face various health issues, including eye, nose, and throat infections, hepatitis, diabetes, and hypertension. These illnesses, if left untreated, have the potential to become acute and lead to other health complications over time. Unfortunately, the public health sector is already overwhelmed, with limited healthcare facilities unable to cater to the needs of the local population. As a result, most diseases go unnoticed and untreated, putting the health of the community at risk. With public hospitals saturated with patients, the need for medical assistance is more pressing than ever.
Transparent Hands is committed to providing basic healthcare, which is an inherent right for every individual. We aim to provide relief to the Christian community, which may be vulnerable due to a lack of access and resources to quality medical care. In addition to providing medical assistance, our healthcare professionals will educate residents on the importance of hygiene and adopting a healthy lifestyle. In addition, the medical camp will also provide advice on disease prevention.
Critical cases requiring surgery or other medical treatment will be referred to one of our panel hospitals in Lahore. Transparent Hands is committed to bringing high-quality healthcare facilities to the residents of Kot Lakhpat, Lahore, and seeks your fervent support to achieve this objective.
