Challenges
In Jampur, the community faces significant healthcare challenges, including limited access to medical facilities and a lack of awareness about preventive healthcare. The area is burdened with infectious diseases, such as hepatitis and tuberculosis, exacerbated by poor sanitation and water quality. The prevalence of non-communicable diseases like diabetes and hypertension is also rising due to lifestyle changes and limited access to regular health check-ups. Additionally, maternal and child health services are inadequate, contributing to high rates of maternal and infant mortality.
Do you want to support health camps for vulnerable communities?
Our Solution
The health camp in Jampur is designed to address these pressing healthcare issues by providing immediate medical care and raising awareness about preventive measures. The camp will offer general medical check-ups, diagnostic tests, and free medicines to community members who otherwise lack access to such services. By focusing on preventive healthcare and early diagnosis, the camp aims to reduce the burden of both communicable and non-communicable diseases in the area. Patients who need further medical interventions will be registered and referred to Transparent Hands’ network of hospitals for surgeries and advanced treatments. Your generous support can help us make a lasting difference in the lives of the vulnerable community in Jampur.
