Deserving Patients in Mianwali Await Preventive Healthcare
Transparent Hands is going to organize a free medical camp to provide quality healthcare to deserving patients in Mianwali. It is a small city and for many of its residents, the decision between paying for healthcare and meeting other basic needs leaves their health issues untreated. We plan to positively change their lives by making healthcare accessible to them. They will receive free examinations, consultations, lab tests, ultrasound scans as well as treatments.
Challenges:
Inadequate health systems, crowded public hospitals, and long wait times prevent many residents of Minawali from receiving timely medical care. A lack of health education further worsens the issue, as many people are unaware of the importance of preventive care, resulting in delayed treatment and deteriorating health conditions.
The most frequently reported diseases in Mianwali include diarrhea, gastrointestinal issues, and various respiratory infections. These diseases are prevalent, particularly among vulnerable populations, including children. Malaria is a significant public health issue in Mianwali, being one of the most commonly reported infectious diseases in the region.

To address these health challenges faced by the impoverished community of Mianwali, Transparent Hands is planning to organize a free medical camp where numerous individuals will receive preventive healthcare.
