Transparent Hands recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide accessible and high-quality healthcare to underprivileged patients. This took place on December 19, 2023, at Dera Haji Amanat Ali in Rajowal, Kasur.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

During the recent medical camp, 300 deserving patients were provided with free consultations by expert doctors. The camp also offered free medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B and C screenings, ultrasounds, and cholesterol and blood pressure check-ups. Additionally, a total of 188 diagnostic tests were conducted to ensure comprehensive healthcare.

Diseases and Treatments

At the medical camp, the primary health concerns observed among the patients seeking consultation included flu, allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach issues. Notably, no surgical cases were registered during the camp.

 

Preventive Healthcare Session

One of our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management and prevention of scabies.
