Gujar Khan is a town located in the Rawalpindi District of the Punjab province in Pakistan and situated about 55 kilometers southeast of Islamabad. The city grapples with several health challenges such as limited healthcare infrastructure and inadequate facilities. This scarcity of facilities hampers timely healthcare delivery, particularly in remote areas. Moreover, communicable diseases such as diarrhea, typhoid, and hepatitis are prevalent due to insufficient sanitation and clean water supply. The lack of proper waste management and overcrowded living conditions exacerbates the spread of infections. Addressing these health challenges requires free medical camps to provide immediate healthcare services, diagnostic facilities, treatment, and health education.
Transparent Hands plans to arrange a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to address the health challenges. Our camp will play a crucial role in providing immediate healthcare services to the underserved population of Gujar Khan. The primary objective of our camp is to provide medical assistance, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals who lack access to regular healthcare facilities. Our camp will also offer a range of services, including general medical check-ups, diagnostic tests, immunizations, and the distribution of essential medicines. One of our doctors at the medical camp will also focus on raising awareness about preventive measures, hygiene practices, and the importance of nutrition to combat malnutrition and reduce the risk of communicable diseases. By bringing healthcare services directly to the community, our medical camp will overcome the barriers of distance and accessibility. Patients who require surgeries or other medical treatments will be registered with Transparent Hands and will be referred to one of the panel hospitals. By making a charitable donation to this noble cause, you have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of numerous deserving patients residing in this region.
