Extending Essential Medical Care to the Needy in Okara
Transparent Hands plans to organize a free medical camp in Okara, a city known for its thriving agriculture and dairy industry. Located in Punjab, Okara plays a vital role in Pakistan’s food production, yet many of its residents face significant barriers to healthcare. Limited medical facilities and lack of awareness often prevent people from receiving timely medical attention. By providing free consultations, lab tests, ultrasound scans, and medicines to needy patients, we aim to make healthcare accessible to deserving patients in Okara.
Challenges
Okara’s residents face difficulty accessing timely and affordable healthcare. The local hospitals are often overwhelmed and the high costs of treatments at private hospitals put them beyond the reach of the underprivileged. Many residents are unable to access medical care, resulting in worsening health conditions and a high prevalence of treatable illnesses.
Diarrhea and malaria are among the most frequently reported diseases in Okara.
Solution
In response to these challenges, Transparent Hands is setting up a free medical camp to deliver much-needed healthcare to the people of Okara. By delivering these services, Transparent Hands aims to make sure that the underprivileged community of Okara receives essential medical care. A skilled team, including doctors and nurses, will be available to provide free consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicines at no cost.
