Transparent Hands is committed to its mission to extend free quality healthcare to numerous deserving patients across Pakistan. We are going to arrange another free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Kotri to serve its residents. Kotri is an underserved region and the limited and expensive healthcare facilities leave many residents with untreated health conditions. Therefore, it’s necessary to address these challenges in healthcare by organizing a free medical camp.

Challenges:

In Kotri, the common health conditions include hypertension, diabetes, and gastrointestinal problems. Moreover, infectious diseases are also prevalent.
Many residents of Kotri cannot afford regular check-ups. Moreover, the region lacks adequate medical facilities and medical professionals. Needy patients can’t get timely diagnoses of their health issues, which further deteriorates their health conditions.

To heal the lives of many needy patients in Kotri, we are going to organize a free medical camp.
Our team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and lab technicians will offer the following free medical services at our upcoming camp in Kotri.

Through this camp, Transparent Hands aims to create a healthier future for the people of Kotri by improving access to healthcare and promoting health education.

Transparent Hands, with the collaboration of Rafhan Maize, recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide essential medical support to underprivileged patients. The free medical camp was held at Govt. Boys Primary School, Abdullah D Baloch, Kotri, District Jamshoro, on 27th October 2024. 

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

A total of 695 deserving patients received free consultations with our expert doctors. Medicines, blood pressure check-ups, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, and hepatitis B & C screenings were provided free of cost. Preventive Healthcare Session

At the free medical camp in Kotri, most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from skin allergies, fever, diabetes, body pains, hypertension, gastric problems, cough, flu, and weakness. Moreover, free medicines were also given to a large number of deserving patients.

Impact

The free medical camp positively impacted the lives of 695 needy patients and their families. The low-income communities of this region struggled with inadequate health infrastructure, and many residents didn’t have access to essential health services. By organizing a free medical camp, our team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and lab technicians provided free check-ups, diagnostic tests, and medicines to deserving patients. It helped them in the early diagnosis and treatments for various health conditions, improving health outcomes for the population.

To raise awareness among the local communities in Kotri regarding the importance of personal hygiene, our doctors held a preventive healthcare session. This approach empowered the residents to protect themselves from various illnesses by maintaining cleanliness, thus enhancing their quality of life.
