Transparent Hands organized a free medical and surgical camp on October 2nd, 2020 at Zam Zam Textiles, Rachna Town, Main Satyana road, near Jaranwala road, Faisalabad, for the underprivileged community living in the area. A team of 15 experts managed the camp successfully. 160 patients were provided with free consultation and medicines. The tests included hepatitis B&C, blood sugar and blood pressure tests which were also conducted free of cost.

In this medical camp, 9 medical and surgical cases were identified. Apart from this, 7 patients also tested positive for hepatitis-c. All these cases were then registered with the organization to proceed further with the treatment. The medical camp team included a supervisor, 4 doctors (2 male and 2 female), a pharmacist, a lab technician, a patient registrar, a photographer, a female nurse, and 5 crew workers.

This medical camp successfully provided quality healthcare; free of cost to a number of patients whose health’s had also been impacted due to living in the industrial area of Faisalabad. We look forward to organizing more camps to serve the underprivileged communities of Pakistan with basic healthcare facilities.

Please keep supporting our cause!
