Free Medical Camp in Jhang sponsored by Coppergat Cables and Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison

Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp on 23rd November 2018 at Mian Safdar Hussain Farm House, Al Hussain Nagar, Shorkot City, Jhang. The camp was organized by Transparent Hands with the collaboration of Coppergat Cables and the Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison.

In this medical camp with the collaboration of Coppergat Cables and the Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison, 314 patients were checked free of cost. They were also provided free medicines as prescribed by doctors. In this medical camp, the diabetic test facility and ultrasound test facility were also provided free to the patients. Out of 314 patients, 5 surgical cases were found and pre-registered; 2 cases of urology surgery, 2 cases of general surgery, and 1 patient of gynecology surgery.

In this medical camp, we found out that most of the patients were suffering from various diseases including skin allergy, chest infection, muscular & joints pain, seasonal fever & flu, high blood sugar levels, gastrointestinal diseases, and many more.

Transparent Hands team comprising of 11 members managed this medical camp Jhang successfully. Team included 3 doctors, 1 radiologist, 2 pharmacists / dispensers, 1 phlebotomist, 1 supervisor, 1 photographer and 2 patient registration persons. The camp has successfully created an impact in the lives of 314 patients of Shorkot and surrounding areas. We look forward to organizing many such free medical camps to facilitate the poor and deserving patients of Pakistan.
