Free Medical Camp in Kasur by Transparent Hands
Transparent Hands organized free medical support for people in Chunian on September 30th, 2020, at Qabar village, Kot Khudiyan Khaas, District Kasur, for the underprivileged community living in the area. A team of 22 experts managed this camp successfully. 545 patients were provided with free consultation and medicines. The tests included hepatitis B&C, blood sugar, and blood pressure tests which were also conducted free of cost.
In this medical camp, 16 medical and surgical cases were identified. Apart from this, 3 patients also tested positive for hepatitis-c. All these cases were then registered with the organization to proceed further with the treatment. The medical camp team included a supervisor, 5 doctors (2 male and 3 female), 2 pharmacists, 2 lab technicians, 2 patient registrars, a photographer, 2 nurses, and 7 crew workers.
This medical camp successfully provided quality healthcare; free of cost to a number of patients living in Kasur and its surrounding areas. We look forward to organizing more camps to serve the underprivileged communities of Pakistan with basic healthcare facilities.
