Transparent Hands and Lahore Care Hospital organized a free medical camp on 15th April 2019 at Lahore Care Hospital, Ghazi Road Stop, Ferozepur Road, Lahore.

In this medical camp, a team of specialized doctors and para-medical staff conducted a free check-up of 330 patients. Besides general check-up, blood pressure and blood sugar test facilities were provided to over 150 patients free of charge and they were also advised preventive measures regarding diabetes and hypertension which are the most prevailing health issues in Pakistan. Free medicines were distributed to needy patients as prescribed by doctors.

Around 26% of the patients were suffering from seasonal fever in the camp. However, others were suffering from joint pain, skin allergies, eye infection and diarrhea. There were 35+ women who were experiencing gynae issues for which they were prescribed medicines and proper care. In this camp, 5 patients were diagnosed for surgical treatment such as throat infection, heart disease, and hernia. These patients will be provided free surgical treatment by Transparent Hands.

Transparent Hands and Lahore Care Hospital team comprising of 27 members managed this medical camp successfully. The team included 8 doctors, 3 pharmacists/dispensers, 6 phlebotomists, 2 supervisors, 1 photographer, 3 patient registration persons, and 4 helpers.

People in the medical camp were also educated by doctors about healthy habits for their better health and well-being. They were thankful to Transparent Hands and Lahore Care Hospital for this generous gesture and requested to organize more camps to facilitate the deprived people in their area and surroundings.
