Free Medical Camp in Sheikhupura sponsored by Hope Uplift Foundation
Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp on 21st April 2018 at Khana Labana, Sheikhupura Muridke Road, District Sheikhupura. The camp was organized by Transparent Hands with collaboration of Hope Uplift Foundation. In this medical camp, 433 patients were checked free of cost and they were also given free medicines as prescribed by doctors. Out of these patients, around 80 people were given free blood sugar test facility.
In medical camp, a few surgical cases were also identified and they were further pre-registered with Transparent Hands for free of cost surgical treatment. Among these surgical patients; 1 patients of Tonsillitis, 1 patient of Umbilical lamps, 1 patients of goiter and 2 hernia patient were registered.
The transparent Hands team comprising of 8 members and 3 members from Hope Uplift Foundation managed this free medical camp in Sheikhupura successfully. Team included 2 doctors, 2 pharmacists / dispensers, 1 Phlebotomist, 1 helper, 2 supervisors, 2 patient registration persons and 1 photographer. The camp has successfully created an impact in the lives of more than 400 patients of Sheikhupura district. We look forward to organizing many such free medical camps in the future to facilitate the poor and deserving patients of Pakistan.
