Challenge:
With a population of roughly 300,000 people, Nawabshah is a small town in Sindh. Many families live below the poverty line in this city. Every day, they face difficult decisions like choosing between medical treatments for their loved ones or feeding their families. A large number of people in Nawabshah have no option but to drink contaminated water, which can cause diseases like hepatitis, diarrhea, typhoid, and other waterborne illnesses. Diseases of the liver, skin, and intestine are also prevalent in the city. Due to financial constraints and lack of access to healthcare facilities, the people of Nawabshah are unable to seek treatments for their illnesses.
Our Solution:
We aim to set up a free medical camp to bring quality health care directly to the underprivileged people of Nawabshah. Deserving patients will receive free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests. Transparent Hands also registers patients for free surgeries and medical procedures. They are treated at one of our panel hospitals. Your donations will make it possible for us to provide free medical care to hundreds of deserving patients in Nawabshah.
Transparent Hands recently arranged a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to make quality treatments available to poor patients. The free medical camp was held at The Star Academy, Star Colony, Daur, Sindh, on June 27, 2022.
