Challenges

Rawalpindi is one of the biggest and most populous cities in Pakistan, with a population of over 3 million people. A large number of these individuals are living in vulnerable conditions due to a lack of proper shelter, latrines, hygiene practices, clean drinking water, and most importantly, poor infrastructure of public health sector. The underprivileged people get infected with skin problems and are also exposed to other diseases, including malaria, dengue fever, diarrhea, eye diseases, typhoid, measles, tuberculosis, dysentery, hepatitis, and cardiovascular and respiratory disorders.

Our Solution 

Transparent Hands plans to arrange a free medical camp in Rawalpindi and a preventive healthcare session on skin problems and their prevention. We believe it’s important for people to learn about the signs, symptoms, and diagnosis of a wide range of health issues through awareness sessions like these. It encourages people to adopt healthy habits that will help them maintain their health throughout their lives. Our doctors and specialists will be available for free consultations, medication, and the aforementioned diagnostic tests during these medical camps. The patients who need surgeries or other medical treatment will be registered with Transparent Hands and referred to one of our panel hospitals.
